The next Put Together Event are on September 14, 2008 in Burtonsville, Maryland and November 15, 2008 in Rockville, Maryland.  We assembled over 100 afghans at each of our last seven events!  At our July event, we laid out 252 afghans thanks to the help of 70 volunteers. 

There are several knitting and crocheting circles planned throughout the Washington, D.C. metropolitan area.  These informal gatherings of small groups give us time to visit, converse, and learn a few tips and tricks.

To date we have assembled over 1,699 afghans!  If you can single crochet, you can assemble an afghan.
