Instructions for Crocheting 6" x 9" Rectangles |

To Make a 6" x 9" Single Crochet Rectangle Using an H size crochet hook, single chain 20 to 22 stitches very loosely to measure 6 inches (number needed will depend on your yarn tension). Beginning with the second chain, single crochet to the end. Chain one, turn and repeat until the piece measures 9 inches. Fasten off and tuck in ends. To make the piece 9" x 6", single chain approximately 29 to 31 stitches and follow the instructions above. |

To Make a 6" x 9" Rectangle Using a size F crochet hook, single chain 32 stitches.* Row 1: Single crochet in 2nd chain from hook, ( chain 2, skip 2 chain, single crochet in next chain) repeat across, chain 1, turn. Row 2--(Single crochet in single crochet, chain 2, skip chain 2 space, single crochet in next single crochet) Repeat across, chain 1, turn.
